March 8 International Women's Day celebrated in DPRK
  The 115th anniversary of the March 8 International Women's Day was celebrated across the country.
  Working people visited the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and recalled with reverence the immortal exploits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who put the dignity and position of the Korean women on the highest plane by leading the Juche-oriented Korean women's movement to a shining victory.
  Many people visited the bronze statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill and their bronze statues and mosaic murals in all parts of the country, laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers and paid respects to them.
  Officials of provinces, cities, counties and institutions, industrial establishments and farms met exemplary working women including women scientists, teachers and innovators to congratulate them on the occasion of the March 8 International Women's Day.
  A concert was given by the National Symphony Orchestra at the Moranbong Theatre to commemorate the 115th anniversary of the March 8 International Women's Day and other colourful performances given at theatres and open-air stages in the capital and provinces.
